The mathematical wonder of Surah Al Kawthar!
Surah Al-Kawthar (Chapter 108). One of the shortest surahs of the Qur’an. Its number of verses is only three. It says:
The mathematical wonder of Surah Al Kawthar!
Verily, I have bestowed upon you Al-Kawthar.
So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.
Verily, he who harbors enmity towards you is annihilated.
In the second verse of this sura, which consists of three verses, it is commanded to perform Sacrifice. The word نحر means to sacrifice a camel.
And the sacrifice is done on the 10th of the month of Zilhajj. Surprisingly, the number 10 is coded in various ways in Surah Al-Kawthar.
If you notice, it will be seen that the letter at the end of each verse is ‘ر’ (ر). In Arabic, the letter ‘ر’ is the 10th letter of the Arabic alphabet.
Three verses have 10 different Arabic letters!
The total number of words in this Surah is 10!!
The number of letters, which appear only once in the entire Surah Kawthar is 10!
The first letter of the Arabic alphabet Alif / Hamza is present 10 times in the entire Surah Kawthar!
In the second verse, there is the word نحر which means to sacrifice, the sacrifice is done on the 10th of Zilhajj.
In the second verse, there is the word نحر which means to sacrifice, it is also located in the 10th place!
Really wonderful! In just three verses, the number 10 is highlighted in various ways. The small Surah Kausar proves that the Holy Quran is indeed the word of God! Thus it is not possible for any human being to express a number so many times in the form of code. And for this reason, Almighty Allah has challenged 1400 years ago in Surah No. 10 of the Qur’an (!!) in verse No. 38 of Yunus-
Do they say that he [i.e. Muhammad (PBUH)] composed it? Say, then bring (compose) a Surah like it and call upon whomever you can besides Allah, if you are truthful [that Muhammad (PBUH) composed it]. (Surah Yunus: 38)
